The term IoT, or Internet of Things, refers to the collective network of connected devices and the technology that facilitates communication between devices and the cloud, as well as between the devices themselves.

**PROBLEM STATEMENTS**
Q1. Information sharing is a major factor for development in the country. It is a time taking process to share information to all the citizens of the country through media and newspapers. In this modern generation almost everyone has a mobile phone in their hand. We can use this opportunity to share information directly to them through SMS or email. This will save time and money and information can be shared with a larger community within a short time duration. Also such service can be used to repeatedly send SMS in case of emergency situations. Scheduling of SMS/emails, scheduler alert/notification system, users creation with different role and responsibilities, read & unread status, provision of importing contact details from excel worksheets, customizing emails with name of the receiver etc. should be included.

 GUIDELINES- 

1. A bulk SMS or email service which can convey information to a larger audience in a short interval of time.
2 .Develop a  mobile/web app that will allow sending Bulk email & SMS (around 1 crore) users in one go through SMTP or other technology.
3 .Features like log generation, notification of failure of SMS and/or email delivery, scheduling of SMS/emails.

Q2. Develop an loT enabled Android application to give real time parking space available on the campus. In the present scenario of covid pandemic automatic parking system is one of the important prototypes that we need. Hence design a Iot based android application of parking system to detect an available parking slot in a parking space .

GUIDELINES-

1.Application must contain real-time detection of available parking spaces on campus.
2.It should be an intuitive and user-friendly interface for easy navigation.
3.Integration with the existing campus parking system for accurate data.
4.Adherence to data privacy and security standards.
5.There must be use of the latest technology for reliable performance and regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.


The concept of education finance also addresses questions about how resources are allocated, used, and accounted for to achieve sustainable, quality education for all children and youth.

Q1 Improving Personal Finance Management for the unbanked population.
In many developing countries, a large portion of the population is unbanked, meaning they do not have access to traditional banking services like savings accounts, loans, and credit cards. This makes it difficult for them to manage their finances effectively, leading to increased financial stress and insecurity. Your challenge is to create a solution that improves the personal finance management of individuals who do not have access to traditional banking services.

GUIDELINES-
1. The solution should be easily accessible through smartphone and web platforms, with a user-friendly interface.
2. The solution should be able to integrate with various UPI payment methods to make transactions and payments more convenient.
3. The solution should include educational resources and tools that can help the unbanked population improve their financial literacy.
4. The solution should be customizable, allowing users to set budgets, track expenses, and set financial goals that are specific to their needs and circumstances.
5. The solution should be scalable to accommodate the needs of a growing unbanked population.

Q2.  Financial fraud is a growing problem in the financial services industry, causing significant financial losses and damaging trust in the financial system. The goal is to address this problem by developing solutions to improve fraud detection and prevention.

Guidelines:
1.Develop algorithms to identify fraudulent transactions by analyzing customer behavior patterns.
2.Create real-time fraud alerts for consumers to take prompt action in case of suspected fraud.
3.Develop effective, efficient, and accessible solutions to restore trust in the financial system.
4.Bring together individuals with the necessary skills and expertise to develop innovative solutions.
5.Reduce the financial losses caused by fraud.

# EDUCATION
 Q. Design a digital platform that addresses the challenges of remote learning and improves the educational experience for students in low-income communities. A blockchain is a distributed database or ledger that is shared among the nodes of a computer network. As a database, a blockchain stores information electronically in digital format. 
**PROBLEM STATEMENTS**
Q1. The increasing use of digital transactions and the need for secure, tamper-proof records has led to growing interest in blockchain technology. However, the full potential of blockchain has yet to be fully realized in the financial industry. The goal of this hackathon is to develop new and innovative solutions using blockchain technology that can improve the efficiency, security, and transparency of financial transactions. Participants will have access to a blockchain platform and a set of financial transaction data. They will be expected to use this data to develop a working prototype of their solution. The prototype should demonstrate how the proposed solution can improve upon existing financial transactions systems in terms of efficiency, security, and transparency.

GUIDELINES-
1.Solutions should be built on a blockchain platform
2.The prototype should be able to handle at least 100 transactions per second
3.The prototype should be able to handle user authentication and authorization.

Q2. The problem of fragmented and siloed electronic health records poses a significant barrier to providing patient-centered care. Patients' medical history is often spread across multiple providers and systems, making it difficult for healthcare professionals to access complete and accurate information. Develop a solution that addresses this problem by creating a patient-centric electronic health records system that seamlessly integrates and organizes patients' medical information from various sources, making it easily accessible for healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for their patients.

Blockchain & Crypto

Augmented reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) bridge the digital and physical worlds. They allow you to take in information and content visually, in the same way you take in the world.
**PROBLEM STATEMENT**
Q. The use of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technology offers a unique solution to enhance the performance of athletes. By simulating real-life conditions in a virtual environment, athletes can receive comprehensive training that closely mimics real-world scenarios. This approach allows athletes to improve their skills, increase their confidence, and refine their technique, resulting in a more effective and efficient training experience. With AR/VR, athletes can train at their own pace and receive immediate feedback, leading to improved overall performance and a competitive advantage on the field.

GUIDELINES-
1. Design an immersive learning platform or mobile application which allows players to practice and train anytime and anywhere. 
2. Proposal solution to have simulations for different sporting environment such as field, court, track etc.
 3. The solution should provide realistic visuals with the help of VR and should be able to recognize repetitive patterns for course correction


AR/VR

The cloud offers greater control and application-specific tools to help DevOps teams maintain components from different locations. DevOps teams can provision and manage cloud resources using code or via an automated infrastructure provisioning service, ensuring their projects maintain the desired momentum.

Q. We can use a cloud-enabled automatic attendance system to scan details. Also, all the scanned information can be directly synchronized and stored on the cloud in real time. Detailed information like check-in time, check-out time, date, and total working hours, to name a few, can be stored and saved. Administrators must register new students/employees on the system and provide some personal information. 

GUIDELINES-
1.There should be utilization of Cloud Computing technology as the core solution.
2.Be mindful of costs: Cloud computing can be expensive, especially if you're using expensive services or large amounts of data. The participants should consider the cost and scalability of their solution before implementing it.
3.Deploy your solution: Deploy your solution on the cloud platform, making sure it's configured and optimized for production use.
4.Must code and test your solution on the cloud platform. Make sure you test it thoroughly before finalizing it.

# DEVOPS
Q. The speed of app delivery is a critical factor in today's fast-paced business environment. Customers expect apps to be available quickly and to receive updates and new features on a regular basis. However, the app development process can be slow, costly and often involves multiple teams with different skill sets working on the same project. Solve this problem by encouraging the development of innovative solutions that can help speed up the app delivery process, by automating testing, continuous integration, and deployment or by implementing new methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, etc. The goal is to help teams build, test, and deploy apps faster and more efficiently, resulting in a better experience for customers.

Q1 "Optimizing Energy Efficiency in Smart Homes through AI-ML"

The increasing demand for energy and its impact on the environment has led to the need for more efficient and sustainable energy usage. Smart homes have the potential to significantly reduce energy consumption through the application of AI and ML techniques. The problem lies in finding an effective and efficient way to optimize energy efficiency in smart homes. This requires an in-depth understanding of energy usage patterns and the development of algorithms that can learn and adapt to these patterns to make informed decisions about energy consumption. By using AI and ML to optimize energy efficiency in smart homes, it is possible to reduce energy waste and decrease the overall carbon footprint of homes.

Q2. Ways for getting India to be vaccinated early ( Hardware & Software).
From the day we found the first COVID 19 case in our country the number of cases are drastically increasing and it is too hard to control spread due to the dense population in our country. So if we can vaccinate everyone as fast as possible then it can be a great solution. It's an opportunity for all the developers out there to build solutions that help to tackle some of the challenges related to distribution of (COVID 19) vaccine. So that India can be vaccinated early.

GUIDELINES-
1.Devise a software-cum-hardware product to tackle any such situation in future.
2.The solution should be fraud proof.
3.Develop a product such that more people are vaccinated quickly and slots are available such that while vaccination process the center is less crowded and efficient at the same time.
